I have never used the Redmax, but I do have the PB-620.

I have been real pleased with the Echo blower. It has more power than I will ever need, runs relatively quiet, and is a good reliable tool.

It's definately not the biggest blower on the market, but it always gets the job done.

i've had both and the redmax blowers are far better. one thing, why mess w/ the 7001 when i think the 8001 isonly $50 more??? i've got four of them and they're so good (=9hp push blower) that i'm getting rid of my 13hp lw push blower (which is a good machine but not nearly as versatile- just sits there collecting dust now)...

Go with Echo but get the 755 instead of the 620. I have used Redmax blowers in the past and their decent blowers but Echo will outlast Redmax by several years and Echo has had a lot less problems over the years.

I agree. I've used both and the Redmax blows the other away.
