Redmax EBZ7001

    No such product as a Shindaiwa PB620. All their backpacks start with EB. And there is no 620. Could it be a EB630? And if so, its not any relation to a redmax 7001.

    have had the fuel caps fail on alot of redmax also.. the tank pressure relief is built into the caps, can cause a vacuum or more often starts pushing more fuel into the engine..sometimes even while not running. Had a lot come in with a gas filled engine and muffler

    Been awhile, figured the unit got tossed, sold, used for target practice or something... HAH.

    An after thought is to check the Insulator Block behind the carburetor, they are thermal plastic and can crack or become loose over time. A hairline crack can cause the issue of good cold running starting, but once it heats up it will expand the crack and loose some of the intake pressure needed to pull the fuel through normally. They love to come loose too.

    maybe the insulator behind carb is lose or a bad gasket .that will keep it from running at idle sucking to much air !
