After 50 tankfuls ( about 50+/- hours ) of use, the blower tube on one of our 8000's wore right through.

It rubs on the bracket or mount where the straps attach to the base.

Has this happened to anyone else?

Will they take care of it under warrenty even if you didn't buy it from them?

If not, take out the real equiptment: duct tape.

Going to bring it over to my dealer once I get done all my snow removal.

Thanks for the scoop and I am glad that Redmax knows about this issue.

I contacted redmax today in 10 minutes they said it would be fixed under warrenty, they are replacing the piece with a harder piece. My dealer said if the new piece went bad he would stand behind it 100 percent.

    Duct Tape...

All Blowers Usually Last a Month Before they Need Some Duct Tape !

    Don't Bother Redmax w/this Silliness.

Even with a hole in the tube it will outblow anything that I have ever put on my back!

No need to plug the hole with duct tape if it's still under warranty, bringing it to the dealer and having them report it to the manufacturer so others don't have the issue down the road is the best thing to do I think.
