Redmax EBZ8001 VS Stihl BR600

    Watch this video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fEePijBdgJw Both are great. The Stihl won't have problems as long as you use 93-octane gas and Amsoil Saber full-synthetic oil. Most problems are fuel related on the BR 600's. As for valve adjustment, it only takes about 5-10 minutes, only needs to be done ONCE after about 150 hours, and is very easy to do with the valve adjustment kit provided by the dealer. If you don't have mechanical skill, go with the RedMax. It's very close in power to the Stihl. I have used both, and the RedMax is heavier and louder, and the Stihl is SOOO quiet and just as powerful, if not more. Plus it sips fuel compared to the RedMax. I would get either one. But the Stihl wins IMO.

    i love my br600, its so quiet and powerful, with fuel prices so uncertain the stihl is the way to go

    BTW, groundskeeperllc, it's Cummins, not Cummings:nono:. Not trying to be rude, it just annoys me when people think its spelled wrong and they insert a "g".:)
