just going to say that for you guys that have a 2600 rm. if you swap the gear heads out with a different trimmer (redmax) that has the smaller looking head then you wont bielieve the difference in weight. i had a gearhead on my kawasaki that i took off of one of my 2400's and it tore up. i didnt quite grease it often enough i bieleve. so i took the gearhead off of my 2600 and it felt like a ton of lead on the end of the kawasaki head. the gearhead will match up perfectly and ull love the difference. so if you got a 2400 or something and you would rather use the 2600 cause of the extra power but you think it weighs too much then swap them out and it makes a ton of difference. you can swing the head alot faster with no effort compared to the 2600 gearhead being on there.
