Anyone ran the hedge trimmer attachment on the redmax 2350. I am in need of long reach hedge trimmers. My options are to buy the whole unit which I think is the 2460 and is over 500 dollars or just buy the attachment and I have a 2350 that is brand new never even put gas in it yet. I know the 2350 has a solid shaft but will it have enough power to run the attachment.

It should have plenty of power, hedge trimmers don't need power, I have the Shindaiwa M242 multi tool, same size engine, it is a gutless supreme as a string trimmer but plenty power as a pole hedge trimmer.
