Alright I narrowed my choice down to the hbz2601 or maruyama forgot the model. Which should I go with? I talked with most of the dealers in my area and all of them said redmax. Which should I go with?

I have the handheld Redmax blower and it does a great job. Most powerful handheld blower I have used. I would recomend it to anybody.

I BELIEVE ITS THE 2600. IT HAS THE STRATO-CHRGED ENGINE. ITS AROUND 4 TO 5 YEARS OLD. I WOULD HAVE TO LOOK TO BE CERTAIN.

I have the Redmax handheld and it is great. Starts up first or second pull, has plenty of power for a handheld, and is fairly lightweight. My only gripe is the lack of a throttle lock, but the newer ones may have that feature.

For the first year or so the Redmax will have more power But after that who knows for sure on the maruyama it has a much nicer handle and it is a larger engine! Plus much better warranty!

My main dealer wouldn't be servicing it though. The dealer that sells it a place I go to for string and oil.
