We traded in all the redmax trimmers and got tanaka's. And the tanaka's are better by far.
I have a Husqvarna 326L and am very pleased with it.
dlaros, what do you like better about the tanakas?
god I hate these threds...... Stihl
sorry, I kinda like to be informed before I drive all over God's creation in search of a string trimmer
the tanaka runs alot smoother, and I think its alot better balanaced.
Thanks for all the help guys. I ended up going with a Shindy T242. Seemed that the Shindy dealer was most helpful and has a good rep.
Good choice. I have the M242 which is the multi tool version of yours. I have the short hedge trimmer attachment and I use it as hedge trimmer 100% of time.
I found it easy to start, no cold nature at all. Not too loud also. I have a chance to use another one for a few weeks and just as good. Nothing like people complaining about the new engines that are cold nature and hard to start.
yea so far, so good. surprised how quiet it has been
