Reel or Rotary Mower??

    An athletic field that I have been maintaining (fescue field)is going to be sprigged with Bermuda grass this year.

    Obviously, I have been mowing the field with a rotary mower (I have an ExMark and a Walker).

    Can that field be mowed with a rotary mower, or will a reel mower have to be purchased?

    Need your advice??

    Yes you can use a rotary mower.

    Yes.

    If I couldn't mow Bermuda with a rotary mower then I'd be out of business..........75% of my accounts have it.

    I don't like it.......but whuddayado.

    Before deciding on which mower would be required to service bermuda athletic field, I would determine on the cutting height of the bermuda, if it is below 1", and the field is not reasonably level, there maybe a concern over scapping.
