Has anybody ever cut the grass at a oil refinery or chemical plant?
No, I've never mowed at a refinery or chemical plant but I did visit a "Dupont" Chemical plant one time while working as a sales rep for an industrial tool company. After meeting my plant escort we started to walk across the grounds and I noticed a "safety station" with shelves filled up with gas masks to be used in case of a chemical leak. There was a big sign with instructions on what to do when you heard the siren go off. Right about then we hear this siren start wailing. Talk about panic city. I turn to my escort with a panicy look on my face and he bursts into laughter. I say "what's going on"? "What the hells so funny"? His reply, "it's lunchtime"
