Guys couple of quick questions about junipers, I have a client that has them in her pool area and wants them removed, fairly dense 25'x 25' area...question is I've been cutting them back for two years, now she wants them out. How deep does the root system grow, I plan on trying to get as much up as I can then laying lanscape fabric and putting stone on top.....What are the chances these PITA junipers will grow back!!!:weightlifter:

The roots won't be real deep. Once you get into them, I think you will be able to lift up on them with a shovel, and just kind of pull them out, maybe take an ax to the roots a little if nessesary.

Once you get them out and cover the whole area with fabric and a few inches of stone they won't come back.
