Removing Deck

    How difficult is it to remove the deck from a 2005 CT (48" Trivantage Deck)? A guy down the street is selling a snow blade attachment made for this Exmark but the deck needs to be removed to attach the blade.

    It's not too difficult at all.

    First you'll want to lower the deck down onto some blocks and pushing the lift arm down, put the deck height pin in one of the holes above the arm to hold it down. This will put slack on the mounting chains.

    Thn remove the deck drive belt off of the clutch. Then unbolt the front two deck strut straps from the front frame. After that all you need to do is unbolt the chains from the lift arms and the deck is free.
