Removing fuel

    Shop vac, electric motor, commutator and brushes, equals sparks, and you say use a shop vac to suck up gasoline.

    Someone has spent to many years smelling gas fumes.

    A inline fuel pump for carb engine cars would work well. They're low pressure too, so less splashing.
