I am needing to get some replacement blades for my 7 iron deck (48"). I dont want to spend alot but I want something that will last. Also, Do the g6 gator blades do good at cutting bahia grass? I have a 3 acre yard that is all bahia and I want something that will not leave any sprigs standing. Let me know the best priced ones I can get and where. I have used oregon in the past and was fairly satisfied with them. I dont really see the need to spend over 70 dollars for the John Deere manufactured blades.

    http://www.shopgreendealer.com/ztrak700seriesmowers.aspx

    Gators, (3) blades, $50.00
    Standard OEM, (3) blades, $51.75

The page has many parts, but these are on the left column, toward the bottom of the page.

This is where I've bought all my replacement parts for a couple of years. Service has been excellent. My local dealer does not stock much of anything, so all parts are ordered -- two trips to the store. I would like to support, but two trips is too much to ask.

will the g6 fusions cut bahia/spriggy grass? or are the high lifts better for that?

fusion high lifts and high lifts cut the same...the only difference is the fusion blades last longer and stay sharp longer which is why they cost more...they are made of better steel.

Well I ended up getting a set of g6 gator fusion blades. They look really heavy duty. I hope they do what I need them to do. I found a place that sold them for 12 dollars a blade. So I picked them up for 38 dollars including tax. Thought that was a pretty good deal for 3 blades.
