I'm finally getting around to get all the numbers off of my mowers and misc for my insurance company. The agent mentioned that for a little more $$$ I could get "new replacement cost" insurance. Sounds like a good idea for me, especially with my older equipment. Thankfully he doesn't need any pictures of stuff as it would be a pain to dig all that stuff out of the barn its in and get pictures.

I have a blanket replacement policy with State Farm. Every year I like to just make sure that everything is in line, insurance wise. Every year I ask them if they want the numbers off of the equipment and they tell me not to worry about it. I have my equipment policy rolled into my liabilty for about $800 a year for both.
