I lost my set of keys today. Well, I didn't lose them my 2 year old grabbed them this morning and I looked for five hours before I went and got replacements made. Only on that I couldn't get replaced was the truck key. It's a new style F150 key and I was wondering if anyone ever had to replace one of these and how much did it cost. These new keys have the chip in it, I got a replacement from farm fleet, but, it will only unlock the doors and it will turn the ignition on, but, it wont start the truck because of the chip. So, how much.

you have to go to the dealer and give them your VIN. a new key will be in the renage of $75-$120, my dad had to have one made for his jeep, and it cost him over $100.
