Just curious as when is a good time to start going after residential properties and advertising to them?

I start putting flyers in mail boxes around the middle of march. I know you aren't supposed to but I've been doing it for years and years.

we advertise all year long we don't have snow so we work all year . the mail box thing is pretty unprofessional... also you can be fined by the local p.d. also here they can revoke your lic. if you get caught so many times .. so you may want to check out your local rules..........

yeah i dont think im going to leave anything in the mail boxes but if i did something like that i would most likely just go door to door with a portfolio and a brochure for the home owner or something... what kind of advertising do you find works the best for you?
