One yet and simple noob question... I correctly have a 16 HP B/S Engine and I was wondering could I switch it out for a commercial engine. I currently have a B/S Intek 286H77-01650-E1 and the engine I was looking at is a B/S Vanguard. Please any advice would be good! Thanks in advance!!

I thinks the mountig hole pattern is the same (not sure), and if the crankshaft stub is the same, imo it can be done. You may have to figure out the electrics however, maybe cut off an old plug and replace it.

But if the resi motor is running fine, why not run it out for its life cycle?
