Clients wants me to overseed. He said that Scotts put down Barricade 19-0-6 in early March. I am trying to find what the residual of that product is....anotherwards....when is safe to put down seed? I am guessing approx 6 weeks, but obviously do not want to guess with something like this.

    Any help?

Barricade has a reseeding interval -- depending on the rate -- of about 6 months. Only way around this would be total cultivation to completely destroy barrier.

Minimum of 4 months according to my label ,using the lesser rate.

I ran in to the same prob in late feb. You can apply activated charcoal in pellet form or mix powder form in sprayer to deactivate the Barricade. It is expensive and messy, but works. Lesco carries it.
