Yeah RestroRob....until joining this forum a few short years ago .....
I was just a ham and egger....just like Dutch....
I had the smarts but didn't know how to use them.....
With your help and guidance I have learned to slap answers with the best of them..
To this day...I have never been on the losing side of a debated issue...not even Junkeracs..
Now ....if I could just figger out how to build a BBQ smoker in under 5 years..:dizzy:

    Yes....Junkeracs....basically a disposable engine...
They run OK...but when they throw a rod...throw them away..the engine scatters...
A KOHLER throws a rod and 50% of the time you can repair the engine..
I have yet to find anyone that has successfully repaired a Junkerac that threw a rod..
    Did I miss anything.????

Hang on slapper I got one with a tick over 5000 hours and I'm pretty sure both rods are in there. DC would have dumped them long ago if they had the rep of being grass cutting Claymore mines. You have plenty under your belt, do you really have a scattering issue?

Patriot....you ain't cheetin fair....your engine maintenance routine far exceeds 99% of Generac owners..
You're one of the few that could get thousands of hours of service from Briggs L head twins ...
I am not questioning their durability....just their repairability...

Incedentally I do have a scattered generac I use for a doorstop at the shop..
I think of it as my pet junker rock...

Well....he would have had way more than 10.000 posts if they hadn't deleted. A few of the threads I started...that he chimed in on.
