Retaining Wall drainage with PVC

    Instead of using the standard pipe I have seen some use PVC with holes drilled in it.

    My question is how many holes per foot do you need to drill? And where in relation to the ground?At the bottom,top..sides..all of the above?

    I think the pipe you have seen comes with the holes already in it.

    They don't make any pre drilled with holes that I am aware of.

    Yeah they make it, it's the same stuff they use for leach fields.

    you can get perforated pvc anywhere, including home depot and lowes.

    and the holes face down, not up.
