retaining wall

    Here are a few pics of two small walls under construction at my home. All stones are from on site. I'm almost done. Just a few tweeks here and there and 20-30 more stones. Any feedback, positive or negative would be greatly appreciated. So far I only have $115 plus gas for the tractor and my labor invested.

    last one for now. Close-up of corner on upper wall. I placed some of the stone vertical for two reason. #1 liked the look #2 a whole lot easier. All veritcal stones are at least one foot in the ground.

    I like your style...it has that rustic, yet natural look to it. How long did it take you? I may start getting into smaller landscaping jobs like that.

    At first I didn't like the verticle stones. However, the more I looked at them the more I started liking it. Nice job!

    I LOVE the set of steps you built with the boulders.

    Your wall looks like an old farmers wall.
