    If you cannot afford to invest in your own business while also investing in other assets that will hopefully produce returns in the future, you are doing something entirely wrong. It isn't an either/or proposition. You should be able to do both!

    just smart to be diversified. Don't put all your eggs in one basket. invest in both. in fact invest in several different things.one thing crashes you have a backup plan. yes invest in yourself but also invest in other areas.
