Rip rap around a pond?

    What kind of experiences do you guys have with this? Have you used drainage fabric under the rock vs not using fabric. It's a sloped pond that is slowly eroding and something needs to be done. Any feedback would be appreciated.

    is this a natural pond? could terrace it off and secure it with some boulders?

    I would go ahead and use the geofab under the rocks it sure won't hurt it can only help the situation.

    i would also use the fabric under it it acts like a filter and also keeps weeds down .

    Yah you can use a geofabric behind the courses of the wall. Here are pictures of the wall I built last summer, but I didn't use any fabric. Wasn't really needed for this application. Wall only got wet once or twice a year.
