    That delivery fee is ridiculous. I hope that you are at least being honest with customers and informing them that it would be cheaper to have it delivered by the supplier. You should also consider buying the right equipment to do the job. I see a lot of homeowners hauling rock in their 1/2 tons with the bumpers almost dragging, but not people who do this for a living.

    the stone does not go into the bed of the truck.. It goes into the dump trailer.. I would never put any amount of stone or even topsoil in the bed of the truck.. I have two new trucks coming and then I will lower my delivery prices alittle..

    Around here, $85 for delivery isn't that far out of the ballpark.. Most charge $65-75 for delivery
