Excellent engines, Jap made, parts expensive and sometimes difficult to get, at least locally. Again, great engines..

I have a EZGO Golf Cart with a 9 H.P. Twin cylinder. It is a 1998 model I bought last year and it runs like a clock and is good on gas. I think they are made by Subaru.

Robin is actually a British company that partners with others. Robin-Subaru is the best selling small engine in Japan (against some better known competitors!) Their trimmers (2 & 4 stroke) are the lightest and most reliable around (but their smaller dealer network impacts parts availability). The website www.robinoutdoorpower.com is pretty informative.
