rock gardens

    i have a rock garden at one of my accounts that i am required to keep weed free, i spray round-up there almost every week and when i come back weeds have popped up somewhere else would a pre-emergant work on the rocks,(sounds like a drink) any help would be greatly appreciated<p>----------<br>CJC Landscape Management<br>Winter Haven, Florida<br>

    Sounds like ideal location for preemergent use. Could use Snapshot, Ronstar, Treflan or one of many other products. Only concern is what product will work without stressing the plants growing there.     I'll second what Jim says. We're going to try a product called Casoron that's available here in Ontario. Should beat having to cultivate and hand-weed, or having to spray glyphosate all the time.<p>----------<br>Dave in S.Ontario<br>
