    what do you guys charge for just rockhounding a yard for a homeowner who wants to seed lawn theirself. Previously I'v been charging 75.00 for first hour and 40.00 hour after. Looking maybe changing to charging to sq ft? Just courious to what others are charging per sq ft. for just rockhounding?

    We've got 5 new construction lawns............we charge by the hour.

    Charge by the hour. Let the customer walk the property until they are satisfied.

    The problem with by the square foot is you'll lose on the rock ground and maybe lose bids on the easy ones. Hourly is best. I actually prefer to bid when ever I can.
