I have a lot of Rockwood flat faced Classic 8" block (about 300) that I need to trim the edges off of for a convex curve. This is my first wall that I am building by myself and I was wondering if there is a quicker way to trim the block edges other than with a hammer and chisel.

I have a Makita chipping hammer...would that work or am I stuck doing it manually?
