    I'd welcome Mike back.

I know it's not always easy, but some of have to get used to leaving our egos at the door.

I've been active in contractor organizations IRL (in real life), and you often have a situation where there a lot of self-employed guys who are used to doing things their own way.

This doesn't always work so well in an organization where being open to new ideas and a little compromise are keys to success.

It even seems to me sometimes that those of us who are self employed might choose that path because we have trouble getting along with others. :)

Isn't that why the guy works alone. No one could stomach to spend an 8 hr day shoulder to shoulder with him? I dunno just a hunch. Anyway I don't want him back. Heard he was a trouble maker. We don't need people like that here.

No inconvenience ... still can't figure out why some people seem to think you and Mike G. are the same guy.

Because they are trying to damage my credibility. It's like comparing Mother Teresa (Pete) to Hitler (the other guy). My devastating knowledge has taken this site by storm. Many are intimidated by it. I don't care if he did come back. I'll stand toe to toe with him and match wits and knowledge any day of the week. And I'd come out on top every time. I'm gonna look through his posts and see what all the scuttlebutt is about. Maybe I'll learn something . Maybe not.

What do you mean by made his own fixtures? What does he have a machine shop in his garage? How crude can these be? Sounds like your reading his eulogy by speaking in the past tense. Did he die? Or did just his career?

Mr. G is gone, but his spirit lives on. His well-made fixtures and solid ace-connections out-lived him. It's like he's been immortalized.

hes not gone. He simply has better things to do with his time like continued product develpment. Yes he was arrogant and has a kinda in your face style sometimes but his info and articles are top notch. While it doesnt work in every locale if you take the bits and pieces that will work for you and take it without getting your panties in a wad then you can learn from him just like you can learn from alot of people here.

He is definatly alive and well some of us still talk to him.
