Do any of you include placing rolled sod in new residential construction? What is the going rate? I can see this being a great way to generate new business. "I installed you sod and just stopping by to see how it's doing. By the way will you be maintaining it yourself or would you like a quote? How about fertilizer?" Just a thought, what do you guys think?

Builders are extremely tight with their money. I have tried several times to work with them on landscaping and it is a very tough sale. A common allowance that builders allow for landscaping around here is $500.00. For sod, maybe $1500.00. That doesn't buy many plants or much sod.
