Does anyone have any exp. with tree and shrub root feeding? I imagine the pricing would be based on the caliper of the plant. Have a customer that wants me to add this service and I am unsure about a fair price. She has about 100 shrubs and small trees (2-6 caliper) in a fairly dense planting so there would be minimal hose-dragging. Thanks for any assistance.

If you are using the term "root feeding" to refer to subsurface fertilization, I think you should do a bit more research on the subject.

It is a tough servie to have an exact price plan for. You could price by the poke, but in a dense planting you will be overlapping so one pok emight hi two plants. I price by the hour and after doing it for years I judge my time pretty well and then keep records of the time the job took and how many gal of fert I used. My target price is $150 per hour with a 20 min travel allowance figured in.
