Rough cut- my mower or myself? (pictures)

    Yea I agree, I am yielding much different results than you from my Redhawk 36" mower. Strips nice and lawns looked like they were bagged, sometimes requires a double cut. It comes factory with Hi-Lift blades, you might want to consider the Oregon G5 blades, pulverizes clippings to dust in one pass.

    Deck height too low, you're cutting it way too short but the blades are recessed up inside the deck which makes it clump and create shitty lawn.

    I can tell by the spacers on the front casters.
    You need to raise that thing WAY up in the air.
    WAY !!!
    As in all the way, rear wheels, too.

    Then drop the blades far down as they'll go.
    They should adjust via spacers on the blade bolts as well.

    You want 3"
