Will Roundup kill moss in a lawn? I will be seeding a new lawn and will be rounding up the old lawn in a day or two and seeding within 2 weeks and need to know as the lawn has about 5% of it presently

I have not had good luck killing moss with Round Up at labeled use rates.

If there are broad leaf weeds in the lawn you could use speedzone or even straight Quicksilver.
Carfentrazone isn't actually labeled for moss but it does kill it. The PBI Gordon rep told me about it at a trade show, I've tried it with Speedzone and it has worked.

    Nope - not even close.
However, what kills moss and quickly is a good anti-bacterial hand soap like Dawn Ultrax.
Mix this in with your Glyosphate solution as a non-ionic surfactant and bingo-no more moss.
