I have a Hustler with a kawasaki engine.
I need to adjust the rpm's up per my tiny tack.
The manual says not to do this, that it can only be done by an authorized dealer. So I say bogus.
How do I do this? I am mechanically inclined and I usually can figure things out but I thought I'd check the manual?

Well, The model number off the engine would help. Different models have different adjustment procedures. You could even do a search on this, I've posted the procedure for just about every model in the past.

    Thanks,
I wasn't sure if it was via a jet/metering screw or linkage adjustment.

    Looks like linkage.

Sorry Guys, The high speed RPM adjustment has nothing to do with the static governor adjustment. The governor has it's own adjustment procedure.

Wondering, why can't I loosen the cable clamp and move the cable forward a bit to gain a little more movement?
