    There are a couple of important things I have learned on here. 1) Soil Test - Which I have done 2) Search and Search again – I have done. But, nothing on the thickness. Quick question for those who have built their own striping kit out of the semi truck flap, what is the width of the mat…1/2” – 3/8” or 1”. Thanks again.

    do you mean how thick is it, or how wide is the flap you should cut. my gravely striping kit is probaly 3/8 think and 6-7" wide

    I really don't feel the thickness has anything to do with it

    actually it does have something to do with it, the thicker the rubber the stronger force it applies to the grass to lay it over
