yep i think you convinced me. Maybe of not buying a Diesel Chevy Cruz i was thinking about buying too. I would much rather be in a 60mph crash in a big 3/4 ton truck then a little Cruz. Heck with 1,000 a year in fuel savings, not worth it.

    Thanks SRT8....

P.Services......Check out a 2012 or older Malibu too. We've got two of them that we run (sales guys) and I like them because they are larger cars, more comfortable and close in mileage. The 2012 I bought new for about 18.7k but the 2009 I picked up back in June for 9k with 57k miles on it. Inexpensive and I've been very happy with them. Had I been in the Malibu though, that Bronco may have come through my windshield.

Thats one of the reasons we own no cars. I used to drive a Civic Hybrid to save on gas but after i almost got killed in it i got rid of it. I get around 18mpg in my truck, not the greatest but i feel much safer in it.

oh my, that's terrible (your pick up). Glad you're ok.

There are 4 phases to an accident (hence the 1.5 seconds). The first phase is your mind reacting, 2nd phase is you physically reacting (hitting brakes, counter steering, etc), and the 3rd phase is the initial impact, and 4th phase is everything colliding after impact (internal body organs, they're the last thing to stop moving). It's the 4th phase that killed Earnhardt.

A little dark when I took the picture so it's not very clear, but the new truck is up and running!

New truck looks nice. What toolbox and fenders are those? I have diamond plate boxes on my truck and they aren't looking to good now so I want something that is going to match my stainless fenders like yours.
