How do you pick up the thatch without disturbing the seed?

    Thanks for your help.

which mataway do you have? Does your mataway have a seed bin that drops the seed into the holes/slits made?

I am looking into buying the Mataway overseeder which I believe has the seed bin.

From the product video it looks like it dethatches as it seeds. I normally use a mower with a bag to pick up the thatch waste, but this method may remove the seed just layed down.

    Any thoughts?

So are you asking if the verticut blades will remove the seed it puts down? If so it doesnt, we have a huge slit seeder at work besically the same design and operation. What it does is, it first verticuts throw the thatch, it then drops the seed down into the slit produced by the blades.
