I need to know what type of fire extingusher should i get to keep in my enclosed trailer.
you dont need 1 in your trailer, just in your truck and just grab a small one like you would put in a boat. you can prob pick 1 up a a boat store.
go to lowes or hd and get a 10A:2BC. that is a good size and it can handle just about anything that might happen back there.
As long as it is an ABC extinguisher you should be all set. And if a fire does happen in your trailer, please call 911, it just isn't worth risking your life to save a couple pieces of equipment, do what you can but if it gets out of control call. Fire extinguishers weren't designed to fight fires, they were just designed to help a person get to safety with minimal injury.
He's right about the ABC class dry chemical extinguisher. Get like a 5 or 10 pounder and it will handle a pretty big fire. My dad owns a fire protection company and for your needs the ABC is the best all around one to have.
