Anyone out there pay a foreman/supervisor a salary and how much? I do maintenance and landscaping and gross $500,000. He owned his own company for 10 years so he knows how to run crews and help out with jobs. In order to grow my company he will be extremely helpful. Just wondering what the going rate is for this position.

You will get a wide response to this question as different parts of the US pay different.
When I worked in both PA and IL, foremen salaries were in the mid thirties/per year and this was in early nineties.
Where I am located in Texas, foremen salaries are the mid to high twenties and I have an absolute nightmare sorting out cv's I receive when I post position annoucements.

thanks for the info. I was planning on starting him out in mid 30's and if the year works out good then giving a generous bonus.

I don't have any where near that many. I would be rich, or very broke.

Well I almost went broke which forced me to get really tough really fast.
If it wasn't for my freaking divorce I would be doing even better.
I'm out over seventy grand since last April and more to come.
What pisses me off the most is my wonderful soon to be ex still has my Jaguar which the court has ordered her to surrender which she hasn't yet.
