Sales Tax

    How many of you charge sales tax?.......and how do you bill for it?

    not al states require it, if they do like ohio, you hav to buy a vendors licence throught the state, and add on the percentage that is the county sales tax that the work is performed in.....then its sent once a month

    sales tax exemption certificate is required
    6% pa sales tax is added on ................. period

    wally....so if you do a 60.00 mowing you add 6% sales tax on to that amount?

    subtotal ~~~ $60.00
    6% tax ~~~ $ 3.60
    total ~~~~ $60.00

    thats right..............

    6% pa sales tax: required on everything..........

    mulch, core areation, rototilling, lawn mowing, grass seed, fertilizer, etc.

    How often do you have to pay the sales tax....monthly , quarterly? or will they tell you when you have to pay

    I know this is picky......but........we actually collect sales tax....not charge it.

    I send in the Ohio Sales tax in January and July.
