Sattelite pics of properties.

    Where do you guys get your satellite pics of properties and how do you find out how many acres or square feet of cutting a commercial property has?Trying to go commercial and I need some insight.Thanks!

    I use Google maps. Just plug in an address and hit the satellite button.

    That doesn't give me the sq ft of the property.

    On google earth you have a tool where you can measure distances. Thats how we determine sizes.

    Keep in mind the satellits pictures may be a few years old (the one of my house is for sure 3 years old) so things may have changed

    MSN Live Search is fairly updated. I dont know if they have the measuring tool though.. but I like MSN a lot better than googles version.

    use the msn version to get the most up to date picture then use google pro to measure, or just do it the old fashioned way and drive out there. At least that way you can see if the area behind the building is a cliff or flat.

    www.zillow.com. Just plug in the address and it should tell you everything you need to know about that property.
