Scag 36" 20hp Kawasaki motor

    Need help. Doing an oil change soon and need to know amount of oil needed. t/y

    I'm not the sharpest tool in the shed , but I'm not familiar with a "20 hp kawasaki".
    They make a 19 and a 21....
    Need some engine #'s.........

    Like Slapper says, engine numbers would help. The following should help once you determine the engine numbers. The format is poor, but in the cut and paste operation things changed.

    Slapper, I anticipated a little crap from that unusual post--that's why the good Lord gave me sloping shoulders--it can run off.

    :gunsfirinSorry bout that....Got some grease in the mouse on the bench and it took about 30 seconds to scroll .Its Monday.

    Oil capacity is 1.8 quarts....
    Figured I'd clean the plate for you, Dutch....

    Must be a relatively new engine series as my old Kaw wall mounted spec sheet does not list the FX series nor does the website I found the info I posted above.

    Way to stay on top of things, Slapper.

    Just googled the kaw engine #.....
    Its listed as a 2011 19hp engine with a max hp of 18hp @3600 rpm?
    That's Kawasaki for you...I stopped going to the updates a few years ago because the first 2 hours were the same for years in a row.
