    Hi all,
I have a 52 inch scag walk behind with a pull start. When I engage the blade the motor dies. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. thanks

I have a Scag three wheeler. It does the same thing if I don't let it warm up a little. Does your's do it always or only when cold.

Same thing here with my Toro Z Master. Either let it warm up a couple minutes, or pull the choke out half way when engauging the blades and it should be fine.

Do a compression test. Usually the culprit. After that, it could be a governor issue with the carb..
