Are scag blades reversed threaded. I
Just bought a used scag and cannot get them to budge? Thanks

No, Have you tried putting a block of wood to stop the blade from rotating and a breaker bar to bust them loose yet?

They were probably put on with a impact wrench.

I agree about the impact wrench. If you don't have one try a breaker bar on the nut on top with another wrench on the bolt on the bottom. If your wrench is long enough just brace it against the side of the deck. I used to put some grease on the threads as well when re-assembling.

I've found that if you soak/ spray the top nut with SeaFoam and you liberally spray/soak the bottom bolt /nut with Mechanic In A Bottle, well hell, the blade just falls off!!!
