What blades do you use for your turf tigers in Bluegrass for regular season and for mulching? Scag marbain regular or mulching. I mostly discharge, but am looking for a set of mulchers for the fall, and am looking at scag, and gator magnums. Any advise is appreciated.

Are the blade bolts regular or reverse threaded?

The bolts are right hand . Try the MEG MO blades.

I always use regular Scag Marbain blades, unless wet grass or using spindle vac, then I put on one high lift on discharge side.

I use double exmark highlifts during most of the season. If I use a mulch kit (which is rare) I use the scag, or Stens mulch, ie raptor blades.

I have never had success with gators of any kind, and find the scag highlifts to be a poor design. The scag highlifts do not appear to throw grass near as far, and seem to collect wads of grass prior to discharge.

On my old tiger, non advantage deck, I found the Bobcat offset highlifts to work pretty well per PJ.
