well, today wasnt the best of days. it hasnt rained forever and now its rained everyday this week. there was a break in the action so most guys headed out mowing like me. the grass is getting real tall. i was mowing with my scag 48 inch sw belt drive when all of sudden the clutch clicks and the blades disengaged. I went to re-engage it and nothing would happen. It clicks but the blades dont engage. i dropped it off at the dealer and he said theyve had some problems with those cluthches. they are working on it today, but i was curious to see if anyone knows what might be wrong and if theyve had the same problem? thanks.

This happened to my Scag when it was new. Fortunately, my problem was a loose connection in the wireing harness and was easily repaired.
