    Hey guys need help,
Just bought a new 61" scag tiger cub 25 hp kawi. Can this machine run doubles and does anyone do this??I looked under mower at spindles and it has one big spacer instead of 2 or 3 like other mowers.

I am sure you can run doubles!

As far as deck height goes, you can use two smaller blades, like .180 thickness and you will have enough blade bolt. You will have to take this into account when looking at deck height, and you will be more likely to scalp, though not alot.

Go to the hardware store and get some big washers that match the diameter of the singel washer you currently have, and the 5/8" inner hole. Get enough to make three stacks about the same size as those single's, and remove enough washers to equal the thickness of the second blade.

    Piece of cake

Or you can take the big spacer out and replace with the smaller ones used on the walkbehinds ( fixed deck scags ). the only thing is you will have to adjust the thinking and measurments on blade height settings as they wont match anymore.
