    Hi All, great forum.

I just bought a new Scag Tiger Cub with a 61" deck and 25 HP Kawi. Last year's model, $6999 Very nice machine.

After it's first use I noticed a slight "step" in the cut. Not sure if I'm using the correct term. There is a definite uneveness in the cut. Is there adjustment to take this out? Where do I begin?

    Thanks, Mike

    Hi chuckers,

by step I mean a sharp change in the depth of cut. Almost like one of the blades is slightly higher or lower than the others.

Check to see that the blade spacers are equal.
Also, as stupid as it might sound check all the tires for equal air pressure.

Good luck with your new toy. It was a great choice.....
