Just curious about which blades you folks use for scags. Mines a 61" tiger with 27 kohler and a few mods.

Gators when I bag (Which is rare for me unless it's Autumn)
    High lifts
Low lifts (which seem to be the blade I use the most of.

I use the standard lift stock blades, high lifts when I bag and I use grass hawgs (gators) in the fall for leaves

Oregon # 91-626 Best blade I have seen. 21 inch blade, give them a try. Awesome in wet, dry, bagging, whatever!

Standard lift on trim side and center, high lift on discharge side.
In the fall I switch to Gators and the discharge cover plate.

I ordered a 61" w/35 hp big block. It's not in yet. I would guess I could run just about anything. Fall I will go to the Gators and discharge coverplate.

Scag eliminator blades are by far the best blades out there for mulching. We sharpen the damn things only like once every two weeks because they're made of that marbine steel. They stay very sharp for a long time. We use high life gators otherwise on our hydros.

I agree with this Scag stock blades are worth twice as much as any thing you can get on the market. Seems reasonable to use Scag blades on a Scag unit??

I use Scags stock marbane Hi lifts. They are great on my Z Cat and have good life between sharpenings. They are pricier than most blades though. Downside, I have a 42" deck and haven't really seen any aftermarket blades to fit my machine. I would love to use Scags mulch blades, "eliminators" ?, but they don't make um for the 42".
